Have just returned from a pleasant weekend in Rock, Cornwall. We were there to remember Jeremy Little, whose life was cruelly cut short last year. I never met Jeremy, but I hope that this weekend was a fitting tribute to him.
The house we stayed was equipped with a swimming pool, steam room and a bathroom at every turn. The company was exceptional, the drinks flowed and we managed to cater for eighteen. A new addition to my list of great places to eat in Britain: Little Avalon in Polzeath. A new addition to my list of favourite harbours: the tiny Boscastle.
