I am thinking back to the occasions in the past when I have started a new diary. Usually they have coincided with some period of change or progression. This time is not really any exception - in a few short days I will leave for a six week trip to Australia. This will be my public record of the trip (hopefully I won’t have to leave that much out …).
Today I arranged my travel insurance and foreign currency and some of the other tedious little tasks that eat spare time. More interestingly I sized up the accomodation in Sydney, which looks good. How about £13 per night at the YHA, with a pool and sauna?
In touch with Derek by email - looks like we’ll meet up on the 1st July, when he flies in from NZ.
Also squeezed in a 3 mile run today, so perhaps it’s time for bed.
