PIPEX have finally recovered my email, after their IMAP server went titsup and took about 500 of my emails with it. So I’ve just caught up on 500 emails. It’s taken them a week to restore my mailbox and I’m not happy. I’m never using them as an ISP again. It’s just a pity I’m going away and can’t switch ISPs sooner.
Update: PIPEX seem to have restored my inbox for a second time, after I had already downloaded all my restored messages. Luckily I managed to catch fetchmail before it downloaded over 500 duplicate messages. I didn’t fancy sorting that out. It was nice that they finally managed to restore my inbox, but in the process they managed to convince me that they are Lost Without a Clue.
